# Your Customer Account

> Sign in to a business’s PayRequest account area and find your invoices, orders, services, subscriptions and support.

Your customer account belongs to the business you are buying from. Use that business's payment page, shop or login link. The PayRequest business dashboard is for the business itself.

## Sign in without a password

**1. Open the business's page**

Use the link in your order, invoice or message from the business. Choose the customer **Login** or account menu where available.

**2. Enter your email address**

Use the same address as your purchase or invoice, or the address the business has invited as a contact.

**3. Open the email login link**

Follow the login link sent to your inbox. You do not need to remember a customer password. Keep this link private because it grants access to your account.

If no email arrives, check spelling and spam folders. If the link has expired, request a new one from the same business's login page. If you no longer have access to the original email address, contact the business to verify your identity and arrange access.

## Which account area do you have?

| Area | What you may see |
| - | - |
| **Payment-page account** | Notification settings, contacts, saved payment methods, a subscription overview and support. |
| **Shop customer portal** | Invoices, orders, **My services**, saved payment methods, profile details, support and notifications. |
| **Deposit link** | The request or status for a specific deposit. Keep the original link even if you also use a customer portal. |

A business may use only a payment page. That does not mean an invoice or purchase is missing because it has no full shop portal. Ask the business for the relevant invoice or order link.

## Invoices and orders

In a shop portal, open **Invoices** to view available invoices, download PDFs and pay outstanding amounts. Check a pending payment before starting another one.

Open **Orders** for purchase details and any eligible digital downloads. Download availability can depend on payment status, access limits and the product purchased.

If a record is missing, confirm you are on the correct business's page and used the purchase email address. Contact the business with your order or invoice reference rather than creating a second purchase.

If an invoice is still open after a payment, follow [I paid, but my invoice is still open](/customer-guide/invoice-still-open) before paying again.

## Services and subscriptions

Open **My services** or the subscription section offered by the business. Review the service status, price, billing interval and next billing date.

Pause, resume or cancellation controls appear only when the service, business settings and your permissions allow them. A payment-page subscription list may be read-only; use the shop portal or contact the business if you need an action that is not shown.

When requesting cancellation, read the effective date and any notice period. Sending a request does not necessarily end the service immediately or cancel existing invoices. Check the confirmation and contact the business if the displayed date is unclear.

## Cancel, pause or review an offer

Use [Cancel or pause your subscription](/customer-guide/manage-subscription) for a step-by-step guide to requests, effective dates, existing invoices and alternative proposals. A cancellation request and an immediately ended subscription are different outcomes.

## Details, contacts and payment methods

Where the controls are available, you can update profile details, notification preferences or contacts, and review saved payment methods. Additional contacts may have restricted access according to their role.

Removing or revoking a payment method does **not** cancel your subscription or erase an outstanding invoice. Arrange cancellation separately with the business.

## If you are an additional contact

Use your own contact email at the business's customer login page. The business or customer administrator must enable **Portal access** for that contact. Email-copy preferences alone do not enable login.

Portal roles control which sections you can use: Admin has account-management access, Billing focuses on invoices/payment methods, and Operations/Viewer have different viewing and support scopes. A job label such as “Technical” is separate from the portal permission role. Ask the account owner to check your role if an action is missing. Cancellation proposals require the primary customer or an enabled Admin contact to accept or decline.

## Support and security deposits

Use **Support** to send a message to the business and follow its replies. For a deposit, use the original deposit link to check its status; do not expect every deposit to appear as an invoice or order.

> **[Security deposits](/customer-guide/security-deposits)**
>
> Understand a hold, release or deposit charge.

> **[Getting help](/customer-guide/getting-help)**
>
> Resolve login problems or ask the business about a transaction.
