# Use PayRequest AI

> Review payments, prepare payment links, customers and products, and contact support from PayRequest AI.

PayRequest AI helps you find information and prepare common tasks in your business account. Open the **PayRequest AI** bubble in the dashboard, or use the [full AI page](https://payrequest.app/payrequest-ai).

## Choose the right action

| Task | What happens |
| - | - |
| Ask about payments or revenue | AI displays information from your account's recorded payments. This is not a live bank balance or payout confirmation. |
| Check upcoming renewals | Review the upcoming subscription records and dates shown. |
| **Create payment link** | Review an editable amount-link preview, then explicitly create the link. |
| **Create customer** | Review the customer draft and any matching existing customer before saving. |
| **Create product** | Review the product definition, then save it or continue in the product wizard. |
| **Create invoice** / **Create subscription** | Continue in the existing creation form and complete its normal checks. |
| **Contact Support** | Describe your problem, optionally read suggested help and explicitly submit a support request. |

The controls available to you depend on your permissions, plan and connected integrations. The AI creation menu does not bypass those requirements.

## Create a payment link

**1. Describe the request**

Choose **Create payment link**, or ask for a link with an amount, currency and description, for example “Create a EUR 75 payment link for a consultation.”

**2. Review the preview**

Check the name, amount and currency. Edit the fields if AI interpreted something incorrectly.

**3. Confirm creation**

Select **Create payment link**. A preview alone is not a saved request. After success, copy the resulting URL and share it through your chosen channel.

Creating an amount link does not charge a card. A customer must still complete its checkout. For invoices, subscriptions or security deposits, use their specific creation flows rather than treating an amount link as interchangeable.

## Create a customer

Choose **Create customer**, supply the requested details and inspect the preview. If a matching customer is shown, check that existing record before creating another one. Use the extended customer form when you need more details than the card offers.

Confirming creates the customer through the existing customer flow, including applicable sync and internal notification settings. It does not send an invoice, payment request or reminder to that customer.

## Create a product

1. Choose **Create product** and select a type from the available catalog.
2. Check its name, description, price, currency and VAT. For recurring products, also review the interval and any setup fee.
3. Review the **status**. Products start as **Concept** unless you select **Active**.
4. For a supported simple type, select **Create product** to save. For an advanced type, choose **Continue in product wizard**, complete the additional fields and save there.

Simple services, subscriptions, licenses, add-ons and custom services can be confirmed in chat. Advanced types such as digital delivery, bundles, bookings and authorization holds need the full wizard. Available types also depend on your integrations.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Creating a subscription **product** defines what you sell. It does not itself create a customer's subscription, issue an invoice or collect money.

## Ask about payments

Use a specific question or an available report action. Check the period, currency and linked records in the answer. Revenue totals in different currencies should be read separately; a payment total is not the amount your provider has paid out to your bank.

If a customer's bank entry disagrees with the recorded status, open the relevant invoice, transaction or deposit and verify its provider reference. See [Investigate an unclear payment](/troubleshooting/payment-failures) and [Security deposits](/payment-processing/security-deposits).

## Contact PayRequest support

Choose **Contact Support** and describe what happened, what you expected and the relevant record or error reference. You may see suggested documentation first.

* If the guidance solves the issue, indicate that it helped; no ticket is sent.
* If you still need help, continue to the form, review the subject and message, and explicitly submit it.
* After confirmation, keep the ticket reference. PayRequest Support replies by email and in your support inbox.

If submission is not confirmed, check the support inbox before retrying. You do not need to create a billing customer profile to contact PayRequest support. You can also email [support@payrequest.io](mailto:support@payrequest.io).

This is support for **your PayRequest account**. Your customers should contact your business through their customer portal or your published contact details; share [Getting help as a customer](/customer-guide/getting-help).

## Check the result before repeating an action

A suggestion, an editable preview and a saved result are different states. Review financial details before confirming. If an action times out or its result is unclear, inspect the resulting customer, product, payment link or support inbox before starting over.
