# Custom Pricing

> Offer contract product and domain prices to selected customers

## Overview

Price lists let you offer negotiated prices to one or more customers without changing the public product or domain price. Customers receive their custom prices after signing in to the customer portal. Guests continue to see the regular catalog price.

## Create a Price List

1. Open **Settings → Custom Pricing**.
2. Select **New**, enter a recognizable internal name, and assign the customers who should receive it.
3. Set a priority. When a customer has multiple matching lists, the active list with the highest priority wins.
4. Save the price list.

## Add Product Prices

Select a product and enter its contract price. You can optionally override its one-time setup fee. Prices are stored as decimal currency amounts; for example, enter `5.00` for €5.00.

## Add Domain Prices

Select a TLD and enter one or more prices for registration, renewal, or transfer. A blank operation falls back to the regular TLD price.

For example, a `.nl` registration price of €5.00 on a price list assigned to a hosting partner does not change the regular €8.00 public price.

## How Prices Apply

* The customer must be signed in and belong to the same business as the price list.
* Checkout verifies the current contract price on the server.
* Orders and subscriptions keep a snapshot of the accepted price.
* Disabling a price list immediately restores normal prices for new checkouts.
* Existing subscriptions retain their agreed recurring amount.

<Note>
Coupons and custom-field markups remain separate from contract pricing. A price list changes the base product or domain price.
