# Celebration GIF

> Show a fun GIF to customers the moment they complete a payment — a small touch that makes paying feel great.

# Celebration GIF

When a customer finishes paying, why show them a plain checkmark when you can make them smile? The Celebration GIF feature lets you pick a fun animated GIF that plays on the payment success page — right after the money lands.

## How It Works

Once you've set a GIF, every customer who successfully pays through your PayRequest Page or invoice link will see it on the confirmation screen. It replaces the default success icon and appears above the payment details.

No extra setup needed on the customer side — it just shows up automatically.

## Setting It Up

1. Go to **PayRequest Page** in the main menu
2. Click the **Settings** tab
3. Scroll down to the **Celebration GIF** section
4. Search for a GIF or browse the suggestions (default shows celebratory and payment-themed GIFs)
5. Click any GIF to select it — you'll see a green preview confirming your choice
6. Click **Save Settings**

  Search terms like "celebrate", "money", "happy", "congrats", or "party" work great for payment success moments.

## Changing or Removing a GIF

To swap the GIF, simply click a different one from the grid and save.

To remove it entirely, click the **Remove GIF** button that appears next to your active preview, then save. The success page will revert to the standard checkmark icon.

## Where Customers See It

The GIF appears on:

* **Your payment success page** — shown immediately after a customer completes payment via your PayRequest Page link
* **Your invoice payment page** — when a customer opens an invoice link (`payrequest.me/yourhandle?invoice=...`) for an invoice that's already been paid

  The GIF is only shown when a payment is confirmed as **paid**. Pending or processing payments show the standard success screen.

## Tips for Picking a Good GIF

    A creative agency might go for something quirky and fun. A financial consultancy might prefer something more understated — a subtle confetti or thumbs-up. Pick what fits your vibe.

    The best GIFs are short (2–4 seconds) and loop cleanly. Long GIFs can feel distracting after the third replay.

    Flashing or very fast-moving GIFs can be uncomfortable. The success page is a calm, positive moment — keep the energy warm rather than chaotic.
