Other Ways to Pay

PayRequest lets you display your personal handles for 26 peer-to-peer and regional payment platforms directly on your payment page. Customers pay you outside PayRequest, then click I have paid to confirm. No card processor required.
Configure your handles under Settings โ†’ Payment Providers โ†’ Other Ways to Pay. Only platforms youโ€™ve saved with a handle appear on your customer-facing payment page.

How It Works

1

Add your handle

Go to Settings โ†’ Payment Providers โ†’ Other Ways to Pay. Find the platform, enter your username, phone number, or account identifier, and click Save.
2

Toggle visibility

Use the green toggle next to each saved platform to show or hide it on your payment page without deleting the handle.
3

Customer pays you directly

On your payment page the customer sees a button for each active platform. They tap it, transfer the amount in their own app, then return and click I have paid.
4

You confirm receipt

You receive a notification and can verify the transfer in your platformโ€™s app before marking the invoice as paid on your end.
PayRequest cannot automatically verify โ€œI have paidโ€ confirmations for these platforms. Always check your platform app or bank before delivering goods or services.

Smart Handle Correction

PayRequest automatically cleans up common input mistakes when you save a handle, so your payment links always work correctly.
PlatformAuto-corrected
WiseStrips leading @ and full URL prefix
RevolutStrips leading @ and full URL prefix
VenmoStrips leading @ and full URL prefix
bunq.meStrips full URL prefix and leading /
Cash AppStrips $ and full URL prefix

For example, pasting https://wise.com/pay/me/johndoe or @johndoe both save as johndoe and generate the correct https://wise.com/pay/me/johndoe link.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. PayRequest displays the โ€œI have paidโ€ button and records the customerโ€™s confirmation, but cannot check whether the transfer actually happened. Always verify in your platform app before fulfilling orders.
Yes. Enable as many platforms as you like. All active platforms appear as buttons on your payment page, so customers can choose whichever they use.
Since the transfer happens in an external app, youโ€™ll see the actual amount when you check your platform. If thereโ€™s a discrepancy, follow up with the customer directly before confirming payment.
Yes. Use the green toggle next to each platform. Toggling it off hides the platform from your payment page but keeps the handle saved so you can re-enable it anytime.
Binance Pay IDs are always numeric. The input field is restricted to digits only, and any non-numeric characters are automatically stripped when you save.
Yes. PayRequest strips the URL prefix automatically. Whether you enter johndoe, @johndoe, or https://wise.com/pay/me/johndoe, the saved handle is always johndoe and the generated link is correct.
