PayRequest Plans

PayRequest offers three tiers: Free, Premium, and Business. Every account starts on the Free plan — you can invoice, take payments, and run a PayRequest Page from day one. Upgrading to Premium removes the per-transaction fee and unlocks features like quotes, digital products, and PayRequest Page visitor analytics.
The Business plan (subscriptions, an online shop, and order management) is available on request rather than as a self-serve upgrade. See Requesting the Business Plan below.

Free Plan

Every new account starts here. You can create a PayRequest Page, send invoices, and accept payments right away. The trade-off is a 2% fee on every successful transaction — this is how PayRequest covers its costs for accounts that aren’t on a paid plan. There’s no monthly charge either way.
Free accounts don’t have access to quotes, digital products, bulk actions, debt collection, the activity log, or PayRequest Page visitor analytics. Where these appear in the dashboard, you’ll see an Upgrade to Premium prompt instead.

Premium Plan — €5/month

Premium removes the 2% transaction fee entirely and unlocks the tools most freelancers and solo businesses need day-to-day:
  • Customer management — full customer profiles instead of just invoice recipients
  • Digital products — sell downloads, Pay to Unlock photos/audio, and more
  • Activity log — a full audit trail of what happened on your account and when
  • Quotes — send quotes that convert into invoices once accepted
  • Bulk actions & exports — act on many invoices/customers at once, export data
  • Debt collection — automated payment plans and collection workflows for overdue invoices
  • PayRequest Page visitor analytics — see how many people visit your page each day (see below)

Upgrading to Premium

  1. Go to Settings → PayRequest Plan
  2. Find the Premium card and click Subscribe to Premium
  3. Complete the payment — your account unlocks immediately
If you’re on Free and click a Premium-gated feature (like Quotes or Bulk Actions), PayRequest redirects you to an upgrade page explaining exactly what you’re missing — you don’t need to hunt for the billing page yourself.

Business Plan — €20/month

Business adds everything needed to run recurring billing and a full online shop on top of Premium:
  • Everything in Premium
  • Subscriptions & recurring billing — Mollie/iDEAL mandates, dunning, pausing, and lifecycle management
  • Online shop — a full storefront beyond the single PayRequest Page
  • Order management — track and fulfill shop orders

Requesting the Business Plan

The Business plan is not a self-serve checkout — it’s available on request so we can make sure it’s set up correctly for how you plan to use subscriptions and the shop.

Contact support

Email support@payrequest.io and let us know you’d like the Business plan.

We confirm your setup

We’ll check your account and connected payment provider to make sure subscriptions and the shop will work smoothly for your use case.

Activation

Once confirmed, we activate the Business plan on your account — no self-serve checkout involved.
Existing Business plan customers keep their subscription exactly as-is — this change only affects new sign-ups, who now request access instead of subscribing directly from the billing page.

Managing Your Plan

Go to Settings → PayRequest Plan to see your current plan, payment method, next billing date, and billing history. From there you can also:
  • Pause your subscription (with an optional auto-resume date)
  • Resume a paused subscription
  • Cancel your subscription (you keep access until the end of your current billing period)
Canceling removes access to Premium-only features (quotes, digital products, bulk actions, debt collection, activity log, PayRequest Page analytics) at the end of your billing period, and your account reverts to the Free plan’s 2% transaction fee.

Frequently Asked Questions

Downgrading from Business isn’t available directly in the billing page. Contact support@payrequest.io if you need to change tiers.
No. The 2% per-transaction fee only applies to the Free plan. Premium and Business both have a flat 0% platform fee — your subscription cost is the only fee PayRequest charges.
Nothing is deleted. Your invoices, customers, and products remain in your account — you simply lose access to Premium-only features and pages until you resubscribe.
The Business plan involves subscriptions and shop configuration that we want to get right from the start, so it’s now request-only. Premium remains fully self-serve.
